commander of the Makuta hordes in Karda Nui
How good set is the ruler of Karda Nui?
Find out here.
On the review of this powerful Ruler, honorable, commander and warrior Makuta

Set Presentation

From the design of the box to the instruction manual, these are the first things you see before building the set.

Like every other Phantoka of Winter 2007, the stalactites of Karda-Nui wrap around the front of Antroz' case.
Unlike everyone else's, Antroz has the genuine red stalactite cover.

On the back, you see the team up feature with Radiak and Antroz, and the usual information.
The case is designed so you have to remove the stalactites to take off the plastic lid.

Of course, the building begins right after you rip open this *POP* and dump out the pieces.

Building the set

Half the fun is had building the set. How fun is it to build and how easy or challenging is it?

Antroz has 1 out of the three unique Makuta torsos for the Karda-Nui saga. I first attached his "Iron Maiden" which holds his Tridax pod and the did the rest the way it's supposed be, well, except for the head. I always like adding the head first. :P Anway, Antroz is pretty easy to build, but his "Iron Maiden" could be attached the wrong way so watch out.

Set Design

Now that the set is complete, we can critique how it looks from every angle. New or interesting pieces can also be examined here.

Antroz is really neat. He's genuine mainly in everything except his torso pieces. This was my second evil Karda-Nuian I got this year. What's interesting is that you can move the wings anywhere you want, despite it being automatically moved when you move his arm, it's great. Plus the Tridax pod full of four leeches. If you drop it hard enough, then the shadow leeches will spread all over and AUGH!!! GET EM OFF ME! You just gotta like that Jutlin.

Playability

The other half of the fun is in playing with the set. How well does the set function and is it enjoyable to play with?

Antroz has 13 points of articulation. Unlucky. =P . But that's good out of 53 pieces. He's great to play with and the fun, for me, never ends, since I've got Takanuva and the three Toa Mistika, along with Tanma, attacking him. =P Too bad my Lewa's missing his mask and pieces. IMO, Antroz should have more hand weapons.

Final Thoughts/Overall

With 13 points of articulation, a creepy dude, and shadow leeches, what could go wrong? Antroz is the perfect Makuta for the Karda-Nui saga. Find him quickly before he goes out of stock.

Rating: 9.5/10 - Really get this set!
